Fate/Christmas Loli

Monday, Nov. 28th

Hello again my Giga-Landers! I hope you’re doing well this week, the week after Thanksgiving! I know it’s already been a few days, but they basically had to wheel me out of the house after that dinner was done! I hope you all had a wonderful day as well! I know not every can celebrate the day equally but, if my father who is 100% Native American can find something to be thankful for, I think we can all find a little something. Me? I’m thankful for you reader(s) who validate my existence by reading these crappy Journal posts! It makes me feel alive!

When your heroic spirit is so strong, it needs to be loli-fied to keep it under control. Or, something about Christmas. Your choice.

Anyway, I dumped at least 15 hours this past week into Fate/Stay Night and I couldn’t put that damn game/book down even to eat sometimes! I mentioned to David that, if I could travel back in time, I would slap the ever-living crap out of myself for not having finished Heaven’s Feel earlier. I am truly the loser-iest of all losers sometimes! At least I’m making up for it now though! . . . I hope!

On another Fate-related note, the 2016 Christmas event for Fate/Grand Order has finally started! This time, it stars Loli Jeanne D’Arc Alter Lily”! And Yes, that is one hell of a name! I haven’t had much time to play because stupid work keeps making me do things . . . like work . . . but I plan on getting some hours in tonight if I can find the time. Here’s to hoping it’s not a huge moe-fest! Anyway, the REAL reason it’s important is because the Babylon arc of the game is coming soon which features the goddess Ishtar who has possessed my permanent waifu, Tohsaka Rin. That’s right, Rin is a character now and that means we HAVE to get her! SPEND MONEY LIKE NO ONE’S BUSINESS! Good thing “whaling” isn’t illegal in Japan! Hey-o!

NOW ON TO ANIME!

Well, Mahou Shoujo Ikuseki Keikaku continues to make me incredibly depressed. I was finally right about one point in the entire anime, and I am extremely upset with myself for having been right about that point. . .  I AM SAD! Someone hold me please.

Despite how he looks, Josuke (left) actually isn't -that- much of a punk . . . most of the time!

On to something less so. I’ve been slowly (extremely quickly) catching up with Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable these past few weeks thanks to David’s earnest reminder of how good the series is. I’m honestly really enjoying this season so far, even though I’m still about 10 episodes behind, because of the characters. Koichi, in particular, is an awesome character whom I’m not surprised is taking up a lot of the spotlight. He’s kind of like a mouse, he’s pretty passive and nice when everything is good, but when you push him into a corner, he can really show his fangs. The way he can use his cunning to get himself out of terrible situations is part of what makes this season so great, even at the loss of the great Dio Brando. Even with Dio missing, though, the antagonist of this season has his own creepy vibe going for him that makes him terribly hate-able and lovable as a villain all at the same time. That is, I love to hate this guy with all my heart. I suggest you check it out too if you get the chance!

Anyway, that’s it for me today, Giga-Friends. I hope you have a good Monday and an even better week! -J.R
