Old Games Brought Back!

Monday, Dec. 12th –
Hello again, my Giga-Landers! I hope you’re doing well this week . . . even though it just started! Well, for me . . . you can definitely say, “It’s a Monday”. Any of my friends in the customer service side can definitely understand what I’m talking about. . .
Anyway, a lot of nerds have been hoping on the Fate/Grand Order bandwagon, which is great, making it a mobile game superpower. This past week they released the final chapter in this particular story. This chapter covers Babylon, the time and place in which the great hero Gilgamesh was alive, well, and making a good name for himself along side his trusty companion, Enkidu. Apparently, the story was really good. Introducing characters like the Gorgon, TAIGA MAN! (Taiga-sensei), and Merlin himself, it was supposedly a great chapter to end of on. I say supposedly because I’m still only on the third of like . . . nine or so chapters. . .
I don’t want to make this ALL about Fate. . . Well, I do actually, but there’s more to talk about than that. I finally started playing Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel again, after much delay. In fact, I ended up killing my PSV’s entire battery on Sunday just in a single sitting! . . . Man, I should get a life. Maybe. Anyway, I’m really liking the small bits of story so far and, I’m only one chapter in, but the world building is already really strong if you invest some time into reading the books in the game, or have played the previous Legend of Heroes title. The fighting system is really good, and I appreciate the attention to the music. I just wish there was more voice acting involved. And since it’s about school, you KNOW you can get with a girl! My only obvious choice is the teacher. YES! Sara-sensei is the waifu of this game because I choose a best WOMAN! Mmmm, it feels good to be mature.
ON TO ANIME!
I’ve really been enjoying Jojo a lot lately due in no small part to how great its new villain is. Kira Yoshikage is an amazing antagonist if there ever was one, and the writing is so perfectly done in the anime that you just have to hate the guy, but you understand him which is the scariest part. But, it’s also the most aggravating part!!! SuperEyePatchWolf does an amazing job of telling/showing just why Yoshikage is such a great character, not just a great bad guy.
Anyway, that’s it for me today, Giga-Friends. I hope you have a better Monday than me, and an even better week! -J.R
