I Blame Anime That Ended

Everything Is the Economy’s Fault

Hello again, Giga-Landers! I hope you’re doing well today! We’ve been kinda drowning here in San Diego as we get our first rainstorm in many, many years! Not that I’m complaining, I love rain, thunder, and lightning!
It’s been awhile since I’ve made a normal post, especially because of Christmas and New Years, and my anime articles have been taking up most of my time. Speaking of, the new season of anime is looking to be pretty good! But, more on that later.
Thanks to my buddy David, who bought me Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair, I’ve been playing a lot of games that involve mindless alien-killing. The true xenophobia, amirite? In my defense though, I hate bugs and especially spiders, so they have it coming. The game really seems geared towards multiplayer since it’s actually rather difficult and there are a whole metric ton of levels. David and I have been BSing about life and laughing our way through the game because of its purposely bad voice acting and storyline. When someone shouts, “They’re . . . they’re eating the EARTH!” in the worst science-person voice imaginable, you can’t help but belt out a few laughs.
If you have some time to kill and a friend to kill with, I’d highly suggest picking it up. All 4 classes are completely different and use different sets of weapons and moves that make them very unique. Hell, there are so many weapons you can play the same class in several different ways. Thanks to David, and my love of explosive weapons, I have found that my true calling is in pyrotechnics!
Pyromania aside, I’ve basically just been playing that, catching up on Fate/Grand Order and I will definitely be playing Tales of Berseria tomorrow! I hope it’s better than its predecessor, because Tales of Zestiria physically hurt me from how many times the ball was dropped. . .
NOW ON TO ANIME!
I know this is nothing new, but I really love slice-of-life stuff. That being said, Demi-chan wa Kataritai is absolutely amazing and even better for reaction screen grabs. The English name is “Interviews with Monster Girls” but as far as monster girls go, you can’t get more vanilla than this! It’s definitely really cute and I can’t get enough of it! My heart melts at the adorableness, and I could really use it after last year’s Sweetness and Lightning ended! PLEASE WATCH!
Anyway, more on that later when I finally finish my Initial Review articles!
Anyway that’s it for me today, Giga-Friends. I hope you have a wonderful day and an even better week! -J.R
