Happy President’s Day!

Especially If You Have the Day Off!

Hello again Giga-Landers! I hope you’re doing well on this President’s Day! . . . If you had the day off! Which I did not. . . Kids, never work as tech support.

In the meantime, I’ve been playing a lot more of Tales of Berseria and it’s been picking up the story quite a bit recently. But, more on that later . . .  when and if I write a review!

I gotta say, I love the design for the class.

Everyone is getting more hype for the new Final Fantasy XIV expansion, Stormblood because of the new review trailer that just aired. We’ve finally got confirmation that Samurai is going to be a playable class! Word on the street, though, is that it’s going to be a DPS like its FFXI predecessor. Which is fine with me, because my love for the class was all-encompassing! Plus, I don’t play any damage classes. Hopefully, I won’t suck at this one too!

On a side note, I was able to meet up with my buddies this past weekend for a pizza and movie night! Because I haven’t seen the fifth movie, I was made to sit down and watch it so we could go see the new movie in theaters in all its big screen glory! It wasn’t a good movie, but it was a good B-movie! Also, whoever played Ada Wong was absolutely gorgeous. 5/5 Would watch movie again. Also, being able to meet in person isn’t so bad sometimes, especially when you’re still reeling back from the sadness of being alone on Valentine’s Day! . . . I’m not crying, YOU’RE CRYING!

NOW ON TO ANIME!

KonoSuba still anime of the year, nothing new on that front.

If anything the art and animation are really beautiful.

I also recently picked up Chain Chronicles: Light of Heccaitas because the animation looked stellar. I was right on that end, but the story isn’t much to look at from a first glance. I’m basically caught up at this point but I’m having a hard time getting invested in the characters because of how fast everything is going and how little I know about anyone in the story. Hell, one of the characters was murdered and everyone was grief-stricken about it, but I didn’t even know the dude’s name until he died! There’s something to be said about how it’s a movie/anime about a mobile game, but there’s not much of an excuse since Rage of Bahamut: Genesis was absolutely amazing. If you decide to check it out, wait for the theatrical movie to release first, THEN watch the anime. It’ll probably easier to follow.

Anyway, that’s it for me today Giga-Friends. I hope you have a wonderful day and an even better week! -J.R
