When Your Sensei is the Best WOMAN in the Game. . .

Hello again, Giga-Landers! Apologies for the delay again, for the five of you that read this! But, as I’ve stated before, try not to work in Tech Support, especially if your clientele is mostly old people. Also, that number keeps getting smaller. . . Have confidence, me!
Anyway, rough days aside, I’ve been doing my darndest to keep up with Persona 5 in an attempt to find the “best girl”. In my case though, I found a “best WOMAN”! That’s right, this jerk right here is dating a TEACHER! I ended up going with the teacher, Kawakami, partly because she had a great story, partly because she became a more sultry and loveable member of the cast, and partly because she cosplays. That’s right, best WOMAN! There are a ton of loveable members in the cast though, and I still just barely met the last member! I think I’ll probably go with Makoto or Futaba on my next playthrough. . .
Speaking of games I play a lot, I’ve recently been catching up in Fate/Grand Order, which is going to be getting a U.S release this summer! The story is stellar, even for just a normal game, and any fan of Fate or Tsukihime or anything Nasu related should definitely give it a try. ROLL FOR GOLD! I would do my best to avoid any kind of media about it, since there are a ton of spoilers rolling around now. The story is really fun and deserves to be experienced on its own, in your own time. Time to realize who the best Kouhai is!
NOW ON TO ANIME!
So now that I’ve finally released my super awesome anime articles of great awesomeness (not), I can finally talk about some of the anime I’ve been watching!
I think one of my favorites this season (long name incoming) is Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? (WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?). I’ve heard some people just refer to it as “SukaSuka“. It’s genuinely a really fun watch and I’m enjoying how the show plays out. It’s more or less about a man who takes over an orphanage in a world dominated by demi-humans and how he basically sends them off to war while he waits at home. The thing is, we very rarely see any of the fighting, since it’s from the MC’s point of view, we have to wait with him to see if his girls will come home safe. I really love the familial aspect of the show, and if you look for that in an anime, you’ll like this one too.
On the other hand, Attack on Titan S2 is actually bad. The juxtaposition of a three-years-long wait coupled with a story that has nothing to do with any of our main characters makes the show pretty boring. The only thing saving it at this point is the fight scenes that are just masterfully rendered! The strength of the impacts and the feel of inertia when you watch certain scenes really hits home and adds a new layer of depth to the fighting. Too bad they’re few and far between. . . I’ll still be watching it though!
Anyway, that’s it for me today Giga-Friends! I hope you have a wonderful day and an even better week! -J.R
