Hype for Anime Expo!
Less Hype That I’ll Be Missing SGDQ. . .

Hello again Giga-Landers! I hope you’re getting hype this week because Anime Expo starts on Friday! That’s right, it’s summer and the slew of anime/nerd conventions is well under way. I hope you’ve fastened the seal on your wallet because it’s about to start raining nerd swag all up in here!
My friends and I have decided to go yet again, not as Gigaventure, but as friends to Anime expo this year. Though, with how I’m the only person left, that’s no real surprise. Bryan and Dustin are hyped for Day 0, believe it or not, because of the concert that will be headlining IdolMaster, IdolMaster Cinderella Girls, and two of the girls from Macross Delta’s “Walkure”. Why it’s playing on Day 0, I’ll never know, but I do know that Asian Kung-Fu is also playing this weekend! Ah, the nostalgia is strong.
Along with that, we’re definitely looking forward to the RWBY panel which will be starring the hit show’s voice actors, and the Persona 5 panel which will be showcasing much of the same. Though, I should eventually finish P5 when I get the time. . .
Anyway, I’m already hyping myself up and making a list of all the things I want to get. SOMEONE SAVE MY WALLET!
On the flip side, if you’re still waiting eagerly for Anime Expo, good news! Fate/Grand Order just came out in English! So all you fans of Fate can join in on the fun! The translation is a little shoddy, but it keeps Mashu’s cuteness intact, and that’s all that matters! Oh, and also the story is good! Oh, and also I rolled Waver on my first roll! GO ME! . . . I had to tell someone!
NOW ON TO ANIME!
I am extremely sad that this season is coming to an end. While amazing shows like Boku no Hero Academia and Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul are still going, things like WorldEnd and Grimoire of Zero are certainly coming to an end next week.
The former is ending because literally everything is terrible and I’m pretty sure everyone is going to die. The second is ending because it has to. Grimoire of Zero has still been one of my favorites this season despite its pacing issues and lack of Zero in a couple episodes. But, I think it’s good enough to where I’m going to pick up the manga after it finishes. WorldEnd has just been pulling on my heartstrings of late and I’m really, really, hoping for a happy ending, but I don’t think it will ever come. . . AH MY HEART!
Those are all anime I highly recommend on a personal level. Don’t ask about a qualitative level yet, my reviews are coming up soon!
Anyway, that’s it for me today, Giga-Friends! I hope you have a wonderful day and even better week/Anime Expo! -J.R
