Mobage Madness!

(Mobile Game, By the Way)

Monday, Sept. 25th

Hello again, my Giga-Friends! Hope you’re doing well this late in September . . .  realizing that September went by fast enough to where I don’t remember much about it. Something about . . . a new job and reading a lot of books or something? I don’t know.

A preview pic of the Camelot chapter in FGO. Best chapter so far, and apparently it only gets better from here! Still looking for the artist.

Anyway, I’ve been diligently reading away at my books and manga whenever I have free time now. Hacking away at the light novel “Rising of the Shield Hero” and the manga “Tower of God”, both of which I highly recommend.

In between reading, though, I’ve slowly been catching up on the story in the Japanese version of Fate/Grand Order. Since Nasu, the original writer for Fate/Stay Night and other iterations, has had a hand in writing the story since about the 4th chapter, the story scenes have gotten much longer. That is to say, I am very bad at Japanese and I am very happy there is a translation on reddit to check my personal translation. So far I’ve reached the Jerusalem/Camelot chapter and I’ve been really enjoying where the story has gone. The introduction of more Knights of the Round Table and it’s opposition has really been a fun yet heart-wrenching read. Seeing several scenes from Bedivere’s point of view is almost painful as he recounts his king’s kindness and deeds, and where he’d gone wrong to steer the knights in the right direction. Still highly recommend the game for the story alone. Am (kind of) Free-To-Play and still able to beat the hardest fights in the game!

This season is finally winding down with a lot of finales airing this week and next. Some I’m especially glad are over, others I’m wracking my brain for answers on where the show will even go.

Made in Abyss is still at the top of my list for anime this season as it continues to get darker with each step it takes. However, despite how dark it is, the show never fails to engross you in such a wondrous (read: dangerous) world that really helps make it feel real.

Princess Principal . . . had  . . . a final episode? And it was certainly an episode. More on that later I guess. And Gamers! Was exactly what I needed with a nerd-based Rom-Com. Definitely worth its weight in laughs and feels.

Anyway, I’ll probably do a quick write up on the six anime we picked and a slightly longer one on the other three. Expect those soon-ish (TM).

Anyway, that’s it for me today, Giga-Friends. I hope you have a great day and an even better week! -J.R
