Article Censored by Enormous Black Bars Due to Intense Gore and Hatred!!!

Hello for the second time Giga-Landers! J.R here with another weekly look into my crazy mind!
I’ve recently finished watching my half of the anime and I can finally, honestly say that I’m not terribly impressed with this season’s NEW anime. I know my fellow writer David has already recommended a few to me, but nothing this season has that flair or hype about it that we’ve had in seasons past. Last season we had Akame ga Kill and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (along with a few others), the latter which seems to have been #1 in the rankings. That isn’t to say that most anime this season isn’t enjoyable. I’ve been liking Madan no Ou to Vanadis and TerraforMARS a lot so far. Though, as you may have read during my last post, the ridiculous amounts of censoring makes TerraforMARS far less enjoyable. I’d probably recommend watching it when it becomes uncensored as it’s bothering me to a point where I might drop it. Vanadis, though, you can read about in my upcoming article today or tomorrow (shameless plug)! I’m curious to know what everyone else thinks though.
If we’re talking about all anime, and not just the new stuff, I’ve been crazy about Log Horizon. It’s funny how it causes me to laugh to most, provides the most suspense, and the best story/characters of anything this season. If you haven’t checked it out, I highly suggest giving it a try before knocking it. If you’ve ever seen/played .hack// or SAO, you’ll likely find this one more enjoyable than both. Speaking of continuing stuff, does Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works count? While I haven’t finished the visual novel (yet), Rin is my favorite character (and waifu) and the anime has really taken a huge step up from the movie that was definitely . . . a movie. This is another large franchise I highly suggest taking a look at.
Also, I’m going to throw Dustin under the bus. He seems to think that I dislike or disparage people who have certain . . . taste in anime/manga. If anyone here is a long time reader, you’ll know I hate three things: Sword Art Online, Gundam SEED, and Shounen Jump. While I DO have my reasons, I’d like to take a second to explain. While I refuse to even acknowledge the first two in the realm of anything remotely intelligent, I would never EVER dislike or think less about someone for their taste in anime. In fact, one of my closest friends for the last 10yrs loves SAO. Is he still my friend? Yes. Do I agree with his taste? No. But it’s all good, baby!
As nerds, we’ve all probably endured a lot of hatred, bullying, and criticism for liking what we like. People have probably tried to belittle you for loving games, anime, and comics, which totally sucks. I’ve been there too. Being an elitist in terms of the “Otaku Culture” (which I hate that name, by the way), makes absolutely no sense and putting someone down because of differing tastes makes as much sense as tits on a bull.
In short, if you feel like I hate you because you like SAO or Gundam SEED, I’m sorry. That wasn’t my intention, and I still love you (like a friend). But, I do completely despise those anime for several reasons, and if you’d like to argue their case, I’m always open for a riveting discussion!***
