Hoping You All Have an Amazing Week!

Monday, Dec. 21th –
Hello again Giga-Landers! I hope you’re having an amazing week already! After all, Christmas is in a few days. For a few of us that might be bad news because we haven’t finished our Christmas shopping yet. . . Not that I would put my shopping of till the last second, that’s irresponsible! Right? . . .
Anyway, my family and I have a strange tradition of going out for Chinese food on Christmas Eve every year. I don’t remember how it started, or why, but we’ve been doing it for the past 10 or so years now. Well, except for last year due to my previous boss being terribly nit-witted. So, it got me thinking about “family traditions” and how odd they can be sometimes. Hell, I’m sure some of you have some weird ones! But, I also realized that I don’t want to take those things for granted. Christmas is about being with your family and appreciating what you have. Even if you don’t have a tradition now, you should make one up just to have fun. You’ll look back on the years like I have and think about how great it is.
Mushy stuff aside, because feelings are for females, I haven’t had a lot of free time lately for much of anything, including games. But, I have had a small chance to partake in the greatness that is The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth. David and I have been competing for points on their newly added “Daily Seeded Runs”, which I lose most . . . all of the time. But, they’ve added a ton of new items, new item synergies, new rooms, new bosses, and new endings! . . . Oh. Oh the new endings. Oh, man.
I highly suggest checking out The Binding of Isaac if you get a chance, it’s extremely fun and nostalgic and, to any Christianity buffs out there, it has a lot of allusions toward the Great Book.
NOW ON TO ANIME!
There is only one thing that needs to be said this week:
The ending was absolutely superb and left my friends and I in complete awe. It was a fantastic finale for a stellar series that absolutely begs to be watched. I will try to fathom a few thoughts into a coherent review ASAP.
Anyway, that’s it for me this week folks! I hope you have an amazing Christmas week! To my Jewish friends, I hope Hanukkah was wonderful! To all of you: Have a splendid week with many wonderful people! -J.R
