Social-Light (HA!) Tendencies

More Waifus Than I Can Handle!

Monday, August 1st

Hello again my Giga-Friends! I hope you are doing well on the first day of August! It’s still hot as hell over here, so I hope you’re keeping cool as well.

Mmm. . . Judith. . .

I know I’m not much of a social person and my use of social media is near non-existent. I always blame it on the fact that I didn’t have a smart phone. Well, I have a smart phone now and I STILL don’t use that garbage. Facebook can SUCK IT! Except for when I need to use it for Gigaventure purposes. But, who knows how long that will last.

Well, what I DO use my smart phone for is my recent discovery of mobile games! I’ve recently started playing Tales of Link, primarily for the characters. Anyone who reads these or knows me, knows that I love the Tales Of series and that my forever Game Waifu is Tear from Tales of the Abyss. So, I’ve been playing that quite a bit recently to pass the time when I’m sitting here being a waste of space, trying to get ready for the God Eater event coming some time this month! A cross over from a couple of my favorite series? Yes, please. And, I wouldn’t mind drawing that luscious Judith/Alisha character. Mmm. .  .

Yukimura and Masamune even have new outfits now!

. . . *Ahem* Besides the hum-drum mobile games, I’ve recently been playing Sengoku Basara again to get ready for the new game coming out, Sengoku Basara: Yukimura Den. It’s finally being made for the PS4, exclusively, so the graphics and frame rate should be much better this time around. Though, if we’ll ever get an American release is up to the fickle Capcom scumbags. I shouldn’t say that, I’m just being bias. . .

 . . . Speaking of bias . . .

DEATH TO THE NON-BELIEVERS IN Re:Zero! This previous episode was a work of art and was brilliantly played out. They used the entire episode not only as a very small re-cap for the season, but also as an extremely well put together character building tool. Subaru finally admits what was ailing him so badly, and tried even harder to run. Thankfully, his FRIEND Rem is there to keep him grounded and push him towards the right direction. I can’t wait for the next episode.

Nejimaki’s cast. Because I’m lazy.

  P.S Emilia is waifu.

Another new anime, which I’m writing about now, is Nejimaki Seirei Senki: Tenkyou no Alderamin. While a mouthful, it’s probably one of the better series this Summer, if that says anything about this season. It focuses on war and wartime tactics and politics. Ikta, the main character, is an incredibly smart and perceptive young man. Though his amorous nature lands him in some hot water more than he’d like, his intelligence on and off the battlefield really help pull together a good show. Aside from some stupid reasoning in the second episode, it’s been a pretty strong show so far and I do recommend it.

Anyway, that’s it for me today Giga-Friends. I hope you have a great Monday and an even better week! -J.R
